What makes the difference in a premium handmade cigar, compared with an inexpensive machine-made cigar?
A premium handmade cigar has tobacco leaves on the inside, not chopped leaves and stems.
The better handmade premiums have "long filler", where the leaf runs the length of the cigar.
This indicates better quality leaf and a better smoke.
Under the outer wrapper a good premium cigar will be another leaf. An inexpensive cigar may have what
looks like a sheet of brown paper; it's called a homogenized wrapper of ground-up tobacco parts.
